StudioLab’s mix of performance, media, and design emerged in the 1990s and connects designers, communities, and researchers working across distant fields and worlds.

StudioLab courses, workshops, and collaborations draw on research in cultural, technological, and organizational performance conducted at New York University, University of the Arts (Philadelphia), Dartmouth College, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and now Cornell University.
